Happy Birthday Wishes

This is a busy week for my family. We have three generations of birthdays within eight days, starting with my mom, then my daughter, then ending with me. Of course I had to make a card for my mom, which, as most people do, I waited until the last minute to create. I found inspiration from my favorite spot, Pinterest, specifically for this card I had help from Wanda Pettijohn at her blog here.

So, when designing my version, I decided to use the retired Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, but you could certainly use just about any embossing folder that is your favorite.

I hope you like my version, just as much as Mom did... Happy Birthday Mom!!

Gift of Love

I needed a thank you card for a friend of mine. You see, she is a graphic designer, and she helped me to design my Black Kat Stamp Designs logo. Looking through my stash, I couldn't find what I wanted, so I grabbed the Gift of Love hostess stamp set and got to work designing a new card. 

If you haven't figured it out yet, I may have an obsession with the color purple. This has been ongoing since birth I think. If you don't like the colors, the Regals Designer Paper Stack has many other color options to choose from.

Blooms and Bliss Two-for-One

I started out trying to come up with a card using the new Blooms and Wishes stamp.
By coincidence, I had my Blooms and Bliss paper out also. After fighting stampers-block (no pun intended) and many tries later, I came up with not one card, but two cards using the same paper, with just a few differences. I hope you like them both... I do!

Balloon Celebration Birthday

I loved how this card turned out so much you couldn't wipe the smile from my face. I am so in love with the Wink of Stella I think I've used it a little bit on most of the cards I have made since I found it.
