I played around with so many color combinations before I decided on this one.
I know, it's not surprising to those who know me personally that I am partial to the color purple. I can't help it, and if you are not a fan of the color, I'm sorry... but you can make this card using which ever colors are your favorite.
I made this one using Pear Pizzazz and Pink Pirouette cardstock
This one was made using Wisteria Wonder and So Saffron cardstock
So, if you are surfing the web for ideas, don't just pass by a card because you don't like the colors. They can be changed out very easily.

I created this card for a card swap that I had joined to help a fellow Team Stamp It team member. I just love how the Beautiful Day stamp set allows for heat embossing the flower (and the butterfly that is also included in the stamp set) and creates a nice image to fussy-cut.
Fussy-cut you ask? Fussy-cutting is when you use scissors to cut out an image that doesn't have a coordinating die to do the work for you. Some images are very difficult to fussy-cut, but these big, thick edged images are really easy to fussy-cut.
This card also showcases how you can interchange a stamp set from the Occasions catalog with paper and embellishments from the annual catalog. I love the Delightful Daisy Designer Paper, so I jumped at the chance to use it for this beautiful card.

I love how versatile Stampin' Up! products are. Have you ever looked at a stamp and wish you could stamp it in multiple colors? Well, you can! Using the Stampin' Write Markers, you can color the stamp in any color you choose. When you are done coloring, breathe on the stamp using a warm, heavy breath, then stamp on the paper.
I used this technique on this Celebrate card. It's so easy to do, I don't know why I don't do it more. Now you can have green leaves where green leaves belong, along with any color flower that you choose!
