Life is a Beautiful Thing

What can I say about the new products in the catalog that is going live in 3 ... yes... 3 days!! I love all of the new In-Colors, but I have to admit, I am a super huge fan of the Fresh Fig! Those of you that know me won't be surprised at all since it's purple.

I wanted to make a purple dominant card that easily showed off the new Fresh Florals Designer Paper and the Colorful Seasons Stamp Set.

I think the Copper Embossing Powder really adds a "pop" to the flowers. And the Berry Burst Bitty Bow is so super cute!!

I hope you like this card. Please leave me a comment below to let me know, or just to say "Hi!'

Thank you for visiting today! Happy Memorial Day, thank you to all of the military who serve and who have served... and Happy Stampin!

Thank You For Caring

Good morning! I have been playing with some new products lately. The new catalog goes live on June 1st! That's FIVE days from now... are you as excited as I am???

Today's card is made from Pink Pirouette cardstock with a stamp from the Butterfly Basics stamp set which is (YAY!) carrying over to the new catalog. If you don't have this stamp set, you need it!! I also used the Watercolor Wash background stamp (also carrying over) and the new stamp set Label Me Pretty as well.

I think this card is very simple yet very elegant. What do you think?
Please feel free to comment below to let me know what you think, of just to say "Hi!"

Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day, and Happy Stampin'!

Birthday Greetings

We all need a masculine card for this or that... but we all seem to have a creative block when designing them. Whatever the case, you think there's either not enough masculine stamps to choose from, or we don't have the right colors that we envision that we want. Then you find inspiration when looking for something totally different. That's what happened when I saw this stamp set. Not all stamps have to be just for kids or just for birthdays. With the right idea and a little imagination, there are a lot of stamps that can be used for many different applications.

Such as the Wetlands stamp set, which now that I've found a really good use for it is retiring at the end of this month. There's more retiring items featured on this cards as well. The Playful Palette Designer Series and the Brights Enamel Dots are leaving us at the end of this month as well.

So bottom line is, when you think you have no use for a stamp set, try using it for many different occasions. You may surprise yourself.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you liked my card. Be sure to leave me a comment below to let me know what you thought, or just to say "Hi!"
