Balloon Bear for Baby!

My Mom is my biggest fan, and she's finally learned if she needs a special card, she knows how to ask.

So when she needed a baby card for a co-worked, I grumbled... I don't have very many baby-ish stamps in my Stampin' Up! every-growing collection. AND, do I really want to spend more on a stamp that I don't use very frequently?

So I looked through all of the stamps that I've acquired, and found none.
Then came the Stampin'Up! new Holiday Catalog and Pinterest. I love searching Pinterest for ideas. I may CASE a card, but I normally change a few things to make it my own. I found this idea for this card with the help of Christine Stamps at

Using the bear in the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp and punch bundle, along with Balloon Celebration stamp set and punch, how could I not make this adorable card? My Mom needed a boy card, but I couldn't resist doing one for a girl as well. I think they are sooooooo cute!!!

Fall Theme Blog Hop

Welcome to the Fall Theme Stamp It Group Blog Hop!!! I'm excited as this is my first participation in a blog hop ever. I hope I can do this...

I love the Vintage Leaves stamp set with their coordinating Leaflets Framelits. They really make designing a fall card quite simple.
I used the new copper embossing powder on some of the leaves but it made the maple leaf look too busy, so I opted to not use it on that leaf. I love love love the new copper foil sheets!! I think it makes this card against the WoodlandTextured Impressions Embossing Folder so complete.

Thank you for stopping by. Make sure you click on the other bloggers participating in this blog hop to show them some love too.

We are giving away the new "Oh Happy Day" Card Kit. To enter, just leave one comment on each blog hoppers blog by September 17th. Include the #stampitcontest in your comment and we will pick a winner on September 19th!!.

Sharing in your Sorrow - Thoughts and Prayers

This stamp set Thoughts and Prayers is so beautiful and elegant - you can either use the tree stamp with or without the flower stems for many different types of cards. The most popular type of card for this stamp set is a sympathy card. The sentiments make the card just so special and meaningful.
