Balloon Bear for Baby!

My Mom is my biggest fan, and she's finally learned if she needs a special card, she knows how to ask.

So when she needed a baby card for a co-worked, I grumbled... I don't have very many baby-ish stamps in my Stampin' Up! every-growing collection. AND, do I really want to spend more on a stamp that I don't use very frequently?

So I looked through all of the stamps that I've acquired, and found none.
Then came the Stampin'Up! new Holiday Catalog and Pinterest. I love searching Pinterest for ideas. I may CASE a card, but I normally change a few things to make it my own. I found this idea for this card with the help of Christine Stamps at http://christinestamps.blogspot.com/. 

Using the bear in the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp and punch bundle, along with Balloon Celebration stamp set and punch, how could I not make this adorable card? My Mom needed a boy card, but I couldn't resist doing one for a girl as well. I think they are sooooooo cute!!!

** HELPFUL HINT: Using Whisper White Thick Bakers' Twine, a Classic Stampin' Ink Pad and Sponge Daubers, you can get any color of twine that you need.

I love the Vintage Leaves stamp set with their coordinating Leaflets Framelits. They really make designing a fall card quite simple.
I used the new copper embossing powder on some of the leaves but it made the maple leaf look too busy, so I opted to not use it on that leaf. I love love love the new copper foil sheets!! I think it makes this card against the WoodlandTextured Impressions Embossing Folder so complete.
