About Me

I've always been somewhat crafty, ever since I was little. It came in handy as an only child. I can knit (not that I like to) embroider, needlepoint, cross-stitch, sew... you get the idea.

It's probably been 15 or more years since I started playing with paper. Like most people, I started scrapbooking as a hobby. Cutting up those pictures killed me at first, but I learned to make copies of the ones I feared I'd lose forever.

Then, about two years ago, being an empty-nester, I was alone a lot of the time, so my husband encouraged me to find a friend. So I googled scrapbook groups in the area, and came across a card-making group that was about 40 minutes away from my home, so I decided to try it out. I had just started using stamps, but really had no clue how to use them, why there was a difference (rubber vs. clear) or which ink to use for which project. So I figured I'd meet some people and learn a new thing, and boy did I!

In May I decided to become a Stampin' Up! Independent Demonstrator. Why not promote the product I've come to know and love with such an addiction.

I hope you follow my blog, leave me a comment of what you like, what you don't like, and what you'd like to see in a future post.
Happy Stampin!
