Stitched All Around - Enjoy Your Special Day

I had a few special birthday's in April so I designed this card with some of my favorite current Stampin' Up! colors, Tranquil Tide and Blackberry Bliss.

The Stiched All Around Framelits look very elegant along with these colors, making any card pretty regal. Adding an embellished background with some Designer Paper and finishing it off with a bow made from the BlackBerry Bliss twine in the Nature's Twine set made this card complete.

Beauty Abounds - Thanks For That Thing You Did

I love what I did here... using up spare paper parts for a busy but easy thank you card.

Take some of your left over patterned paper and spread them out to see what goes with what. Sometimes the simplest thing is right in front of you and makes the decision so much easier.

I took the stitched shapes circle and randomly stamped a few stamps using coordinating ink in the Designer Series Paper to call those colors out of the background.

Then I finished off the card with a bow, well.. actually its really a knot.. tied around another knot.

Happy Birthday - Detailed with Love Masculine card

This is a very simple but pretty card for a masculine birthday. 

It highlights the new 2018-2020 In-color Blueberry Bushel, which I love because it's a very vibrant color. I used Blueberry Bushel cardstock and some of the coordinating DSP for the background, accented with a couple of strips of Balmy Blue.

In this photo I used Clear Faceted Gems in the stitched oval, but you could use any of Stampin'Up! embellishments that you choose.

It's a pretty versatile birthday card. You could change up the colors to make it for anyone! Poppy Parade or Melon Mambo would also make a stunning feminine card as well.
