Happy Birthday - Love What You Do

I needed a card for one of my card classes and was running out of time. My upline Linda Cullen of Crafty Stampin came to my rescue and didn't even know it. This card was inspired using a card that she had previously designed. I changed up a few things and made it my own.

This card is great for using up some cardstock scraps. You can use which ever color you have on hand with coordinating Designer Paper. Add a few sequins, dots or jewels for a quick and easy card for when you need one.

I hope you like this card. Please leave me a comment below to let me know, or just to say "Hi!"

Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day, and Happy Stampin!

Christmas in July - Team Stamp It Blog Hop

Welcome to the Team Stamp It Christmas In July Blog Hop. My name is Kathi Desmarais and I am an Independent Demonstrator for Stampin' Up! Thank you for joining us today for what should be a very inspirational stampin' journey through the Team Stamp It Christmas In July blogs. To continue on your journey through our projects, simply use the BLOG HOPPERS links below.

It's the middle of summer so we really don't want to think about that white stuff and the cold. We get that. BUT, card makers like to start researching for their inspiration early so they can get their supplies and start planning for their holiday cards. Our blog hop is a great place to start!

My card today is a traditional card using the Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper along with the Mistletoe Season stamp set.

I added some gold accents to the card to add some elegance to it, like the oval layer behind the sentiment, the Metallic Edge Ribbon under the oval and Gold Metallic thread in between the ovals.

I also used Gold Embossing Powder for the sentiment which seem to tie all of the gold accents together.

I popped out the layers using dimensionals to pop the oval out from the card.

Then to finish I added a few red rhinestones to the pointsettias on the paper.

Thank you again for taking this journey through our blog hop. Congratulations to Julie Schoonover, the winner of the June giveaway.
