My Card:
I am having a loving relationship with sparkle lately, which surprised my nail girl at the salon and she was quite pleased. That may explain why I am in love with the new Shimmer White and Shimmer Black embossing powders. These flowers are very easy to create using the flower stamp from the Floral Essence stamp set. Just stamp on vellum, emboss with the Shimmer White embossing powder, heat set with the heat tool then punch out using the Perennial Flower punch. Use Stampin' Blends to color the back side of the design. I think it looks like stained glass.
I am also loving all of the stitched shapes that Stampin' Up! has released, including the Stitched Rectangles. They make layering much easier and I love the detail of the finished look. The sentiments I chose are from the Here's a Card stamp set.
I finished off the card with some Whisper White Flax Ribbon and Happiness Blooms Dots.
