Cheers! On Your Birthday

This is a great, colorful card highlighting the Festive Birthday Designer Series Paper and the Mixed Drinks stamp set. The Mixed Drinks stamp set can be used for any occasion of card if you put your imagination to test. There are 27 separate stamps to create a multitude of different beverages of your choice.

This birthday card is also gender neutral. It can be given to any of your friends or family, male or female. It also uses up some of those paper scraps that you have lying around (you know you have lots of those!) That's the best kind of card!

As always, thank you for stopping by. Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think of this card or just to say hi!

Have a great day, and Happy Stampin!

Easter Blog Hop

Welcome to the Team Stamp It Demonstrator’s Group Easter Theme Blog Hop. To continue on your journey through our projects, simply use the BLOG HOPPERS links below.

What a challenge this card was. I don't send any Easter cards, so my stamp selection was quite limited for this card blog hop. Sometimes the theme is easy, and sometimes, not-so-much. I just wanted to challenge myself to use what I had on hand. With some patience (which I don't usually have much of) I managed to get the job done.

Once I got this card down on the table with the flowers all over the place, it came together quite nicely. The flower basket is the largest oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits dies. I used one of the stamps from the Delicate Details stamp set, curved on a clear block, to make the design to look like its a decorated Easter egg. Then I just glued each flower down randomly and finished them with pearls.

Remember to click on all of the names of the participants in the list below and comment on each blog to increase your chance to win the fabulous prize below. ** Congrats to Diana Hernandez who won the February drawing!**

So again, thanks for stopping by. Be sure to leave your first and last name in the comment below along with #stampitcontest by April 17th to be entered into our drawing for the free Oh Happy Day Card Kit.

Good Things Are Going To Happen

I think out of all of the cards that I've made this year, this on is my favorite (so far). I used a watercolor technique using both aqua painters and Blender Pens and just love the way it turned out.

First I heat embossed the flower from the You've Got This stamp set in white embossing powder on Shimmery White cardstock, Then I water colored the flower, stem and leaves using a variety of ink colors using the aqua painter. I then highlighed various areas using the blender pen. I usually don't have my water colored images turn out very well, but this one just made me smile!

I hope you like this card. Please leave me a comment to let me know what you think or to just say hi!

Have a great day, and Happy Stampin!
