Valentine's Day Theme Blog Hop

Welcome to the Team Stamp It Valentine's Theme Blog Hop! If you started at the beginning you already seen some AMAZING creations from the team! Thank for for stopping by and taking a look, we all put a lot of effort into our designs and we appreciate you taking the time to check out all of our final results.

My card this time features products from the Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration. The So Detailed Thinlits are so beautiful and elegant, they can make just about any card into something special for that special person. I also love how just a little bit of gold can add such an elegant touch. The gold ribbon and the lace border stamp both come from the Sale-a-Bration catalog.

I took some of the The Falling in Love Designer Series Paper, and with an ink pad and a sponge, you can make it into any color paper you need for your card or project.

So In Love

This was the first Valentine's Day card that I designed out of the new products in the Occasions catalog. Each separate piece of the design looks elegant on its' own, but together it just makes such a fancy card. Using any stamp pad, you can make your own designer paper with any stamp that you choose. On this one, I used the Blushing Bride ink pad on the Blushing Bride cardstock. I makes a very crisp image I think.

I hope you like this card. Please leave me a comment below to let me know what you think, or just to say Hi!

Sending Love

You don't have to just send a Valentine's Day card to your spouse or your significant other. You can send a card to just about anyone who you would like for them to know that you love them and are thinking of them. This card does just that. I love the Sending Love Designer Series Paper Pack. I love it so much I had trouble choosing the background for this card. Any one of them would have worked, but I had to pick one. This paper pack has 6 sheets of 8 double-sided design, which is very helpful when creating cards in bulk for a workshop or a class. I sometimes find that some of the people in the workshop prefer to use the alternate side that you had designed, and that's great! I love that! It's your card, and I love for you to make it your own.

I hope you like this card. Please be sure to leave me a comment below to let me know, or just to say Hi!

Have a great day, and Happy Stampin!

Thoughts of Love

I had a hard time coming up with a name for this card. I usually get some help (cheat?) by the sentiment that I stamp on the front. But I chose to not stamp one on this card. So I decided to use the name of the stamp set along with the occasion that I created the card for. It's a pretty easy to create card, and I got some help from Dawn Price for the inspiration.

Did you know that you can color the Stampin'Up! White Organza Ribbon any color of the rainbow by using a stamp pad and sponge dauber? I love this idea! That way you don't have to buy a spool of every color... you just use any color ink pad and color the ribbon to match the color scheme of your card.

After stamping the tree in Rose Red, I applied clear Wink of Stella to all of the leaves. I just love a bit of Stella... she just adds just enough shimmer to whatever she touches.
