Good Things Are Going To Happen

I think out of all of the cards that I've made this year, this on is my favorite (so far). I used a watercolor technique using both aqua painters and Blender Pens and just love the way it turned out.

First I heat embossed the flower from the You've Got This stamp set in white embossing powder on Shimmery White cardstock, Then I water colored the flower, stem and leaves using a variety of ink colors using the aqua painter. I then highlighed various areas using the blender pen. I usually don't have my water colored images turn out very well, but this one just made me smile!

Thanks For Being You

This is a super-simple card using the Avant Garden stamp set from the current Sale-a-Bration. I'm starting to think that Rich Razzleberry is my favorite Stampin'Up! color because I seem to be using it a lot lately. I also used Wink of Stella on the flower on this card to make it sparkle. I just love love love Wink of Stella!

Make it Shine - CASE-ing the Occasions Catalog

When I saw this card in the Occasions catalog, I have to have the High Tide stamp set! It's a great card to give to anyone who may need a little bit of inspiration. We have a lot of lighthouses in the New England area and they all fascinate me. The each have their own story and they just seem to be so mystical to me. Some even allow private dinner reservations, can you believe that??

So, I hope you like this card. It's looks like it may be intimidating to make but its really quite easy. That's why I wanted to copy the catalog first, so I could try it out and practice, and I loke the way it came out.
