Halloween Theme Team Stamp It Blog Hop

Welcome to the Halloween & Fall Blog Hop by Team Stamp It! I'm Kathi Desmarais of Black Kat Stamp Designs and I'm an independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. I'm so glad you've stopped by. Please be sure to visit all of the blogs posted by our very talented team today. You will find the list of Bloggers below.

Halloween is always a difficult theme for me, as I'm not an avid Halloween celebrator. I tried to do my best with current products that I had on hand. I hope you like my Haunted Black Cat card.

I used quite a lot of different elements in this card but I think it came out wicked good... LOL!

The black foil is a great element for Halloween. I used it for both the Spooky Cat and the fence behind the label. I made the fence by using the adirondack chair in the Seasonal Layers thinlits.

And those sparkly bats! I cut them freehand from the same label I used on the card!

Thank you again for taking this journey through our blog hop. Congratulations to Cathy Veverka, the winner of the August giveaway.

Thank You - Petal Palette - Resist Emboss Technique

This card just screams SUNSHINE and it's bound to make the person you send it to smile.

I used the resist Emboss Technique for the emphasis of this card, both in the background and the flower in front. I love the way the color bounces off the embossed image and using the colors I chose, reminds me of a bright and sunny day.

I used the leaf branch from the Petal Palette stamp set and the flower is from the Falling Flowers stamp set. So pretty!

I hope you like my card. please leave me a comment below to let me know, or just sai "Hi!"

Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day, and Happy Stampin!

For You On Your Birthday

You can never have too many birthday cards. This one is a great versatile one. This could be a masculine card and as one of my members of my card class stated, it's would make a good birthday card around Christmas time.

This card uses the (in my opinion) the awesome Painted Harvest stamp set with the coordinating Leaf Punch. I just love how the flowers look with not just this card, but with any colors of the spectrum.

On this card I used Flirty Flamingo and Poppy Parade for the flowers and I think they came out just so pretty. i added a couple of leaves I punched out with the leaf punch and then to finish it off, I added some gold metallic pearls.

This is a pretty simple card that you could put together in no time!

I hope you like this card. Please leave a comment below to let me know or just to say "Hi!"

Thank you for stopping by today. Have a great day, and Happy Stampin'!
